As part of the research project of OfficeUS in the contemporary forms of architecture practice, “7 Fundamental Views of 20 Architecture Offices” by Brett Beyer is a photography project with a specific focus on office spaces in New York. The project portrais and depicts the working landscape of the contemporary architecture office through seven specific elements:
1. The Reception / Entrance threshold
2. Drafting Table /Computer Desk
3. Printer/Plotting
4. Models /Fabrication Shop
5. Plans / Meeting Table
6. Escape /library, space of relax, sofa, bed, yoga, stairwell, balcony, kitchen,…/
7. Best View
The full project will be exhibited in Venice at the US Pavilion the week of 9/12 – 9/18 addressing the OfficeUS issue “Around the Clock”.
