Tradition of Imagination in Architecture was a retrospective exhibition presenting the works of then up-and-coming architects Bart Prince and Neil Denari. The work of the two designers exemplified the adoption of unconventional thought processes and non-architectural sources of inspiration to create a new chapter in American architectural theory. Prince’s contribution to the show was centered on models and documents of his anthropomorphic designs; the rest of the exhibition space was devoted to Denari’s visionary drawings.
